Its my first post of 2007, so happy new yr everyone. I dunno about everyone else but i didnt really like 2006, this despite the fact that there were 1 or 2 good moments. Lets just say it wasnt the best of years i could have, but then again i guess things could have been a lot worse and in fact, i gotta be grateful for some stuff. Started off last yr with that horrible madhouse hamper company, then there was army, and well...some stuff in between. Failed in lots of stuff too..haiz.. Oh well i am rambling in nonsense again.
To 'countdown' the new year, I spent it with my friends over at jeremy's place. Quite a quiet way to end and begin a year. Yeah sure i was also at city hall, where i got jostled and rubbed shoulders literally with the crazy crowd at the mrt station, but i certainly wasnt there for any partying or whatever. Yeap had to go to church for mass at midnight. Had a very 'holy' countdown instead... In fact, was singing the responsarial psalm when i heard the errupting of the fireworks....
Had great difficulty in getting a cab after mass from that area. Impossible to flag a cab down. All the cab lines were busy or they couldnt find you a cab. Absolute madness. Had this prob last yr too. My sis and i were ready to take a trishaw home if need be. Not sure if they go to bishan though...i have never actually seen one on the CTE in fact... But luckily after a hour or so, we managed to get a cab. Sheer madness. Luckily i didnt need to go to church for next morning's mass..dont think i would have woken up in any case.
Well once again, happy new yr ahead to everyone..
