My Deepa-Raya Weekend

Ok i finally got connected to my stupid internet... Well, this deepa-raya weekend hol has certainly seen my wallet become a lot thinner. It all started with sat when I went out to vivo with jeremy and leong. Oh yeah that place is seriously mad! Its really a mad crowd there on a weekend. Even at harbourfront mrt station, the crowd there was so huge that it resembled a combination of a packed orchard + city hall mrt station crowd.. Within vivo itself, it was like a midnight sale kind of crowd..know what i mean? We even had to queue f0r 30min just for our dinner... Yup it was that crowded...

We went to Sushi Tei for our dinner and I must say that place there is kinda cool..the ambience and overall setting is one of the better and nicer ones that I have seen for a jap restaurant, and its certainly much nicer than its taka outlet... Knew i was gonna be spending quite a bit tmr, so i tried to be conservative... so ended spending about 15 i think. Then i had to spend another 35 bucks buying my mom cakes from cedele and a music cd. So in total about 50 bucks. Thats sat.

Then on sun, i went out with jeremy and selig. (zak n leong couldnt make it) We went to our usual place, orchard. My first time at the mrt station since the wisma basement linkway was closed.. Its stupid, now gotta walk more.. I was quite surprised that selig's mom actually allowed him to come out considering that his o lvls are coming soon...but well i guess everyone needs a break. We ate at kfc, so didnt really spend a lot on lunch with them as I had to spend money for my mom's bday dinner at night at this chinese restaurant, which ended up in me having to pay $40 after splitting the bill with my sis.. On sat, jeremy and i walked a lot at vivo, exploring lots of shops there. On sun, jeremy, selig and i ended up walking a lot at orchard.. Damn tired after that...seriously walked a lot this weekend.. So maybe about 45 bucks on sun.

I still had to spend money for my army friend's bday yest..spent about 20 bucks i think. On its own, this is ok, esp considering its a bday and a 21st one at that, but when taken in total for the weekend..the sum is a lot.. Good PT for my wallet! In fact, i also spent a lot last weekend at chijmes with adel, inami and gab. So for this weekend alone, more than 100 bucks gone..spore had better thank me for boosting its economy.... That said, money is one thing, i still like to get together with my friends. They are really great.
